Meter does not currently serve areas with municipal utilities or electric co-ops, including:
- Austin Energy service area - Most of Austin proper (municipal utility)

- El Paso Electric - El Paso region (not in deregulated market)
- Electric co-ops - Various rural areas served by cooperative utilities

To qualify for Meter's solar buyback plans, you must:
